The Christian God's Priorities by Atamolos The Christian God's Priorities by Atamolos
So the Christian God is both omnipotent and omnibenevolent, yet he allows such suffering to exist in the world while others are more concerned about the outcome of a sporting event?  It almost seems like God is simply a reflection of the priorities and ideals of the worshipers.

Felt this would be fitting for the day of the Superbowl, which happens to be a Sunday.

If you so want God to give justice to everyone so suffering could end there would be no person alive on this earth. He is in control of everything and wants to have mercy on everyone. He loves even the people that make these children starve! His son died even for them as ludicrous as it could seem to some. And christians, inspired by that mercy, show mercy by building lots of hospitals and funding causes that help people like these. Christianity in whole (catholics, orthodox and protestant) probably has made more charity than anything else in this cruel world. So my friend I would kindly say to you with no offense that this post is somewhat ignorant. Honest, but ignorant.

Ummm, and other christians inspired by this mercy take away gay people's freedom, make gay marriage illegal, make violent protests, and bully atheist people saying that they'rte going to burn in hell. Also, Jesus didn't die for anybody. He revived  after 3 days. And how torturing a beard man is going to make us more pure? I can torture my self and I cab say that i die for your sins. And yes, you are dodging the question like mostly any other christian would, becouse they can't say "Yes, you are right.". Booooom ! Your mind is blown now.

Boom! it's not :) Actually what you say is quite common and sadly true. The good thing is those christians are a minority and i certainly hope it stays that way.

That will never happen. Jesus actually speaks of this. People will get weirder and weirder in their religious views. It's only gonna get worse before Jesus comes back.

Yes, me too... In their...religious..."zeal" they try to bring glory to God. But they do exactly the otherwise. I don't judge them, but I know the Bible encourages to hate sin, not people.
What you should call a christian is a person in whom you see Jesus.

Sometimes a good answer is in the dodging.

No, you can never answer a question by dodging it.

The point is, no all-loving god would allow such pointless suffering, so we are faced with either a) there is no god or b) if there is a god, it is not all-loving.
